Hear great speakers and take part in lively workshops The Royal Berkshire Hospital Cancer team and Macmillan with support from the Thames Valley Cancer Alliance are committed to ensuring those affected by cancer are able to shape the support and services available to them. With a range of key speakers and interactive workshop sessions this event is designed to identify key issues that affect patients at different times during the cancer journey, and to start shaping the ways that those affected by cancer are supported, informed and treated.

Wokingham Health Walks. This programme offers up a range of FREE walks across the Borough for residents of all ages. Walking is also a great way of improving other important aspects of your life such as Mental wellbeing, Meeting new people, Confidence, Self Esteem. Dementia Friendly Physical Activity: These sessions have been formed to provide people living with dementia and their carers the opportunity to engage and enjoy physical activity sessions. The classes run in Wokingham and Lower Earley and include Dementia Friendly Steady Steps (Falls Prevention class) and Dementia Friendly Movement to Music. Mental Health Wellbeing Programme: A free service designed to promote and encourage positive mental wellbeing using sport and exercise as a tool. The sessions are run in a relaxed environment by friendly and qualified coaches. There are different levels of play that you can enjoy from a relaxed environment playing at your own pace to a more competitive environment depending on your levels of fitness and play. Wokingham Active Adults: All sessions are run within the borough and are aimed at people over 16. The sessions are adapted for all abilities so whether you want to get fit, stay healthy or try something new. Sessions include Boxercise, Pilates, Zumba, Kettlercise, Beginners running club, Yoga, Circuits and Aerobics. Persimmon Healthy Communities
Supporting amateur sport for young people in England, Wales and Scotland.
Persimmon Healthy Communities is our brand new sports programme supporting amateur sport for young people in England, Wales and Scotland. From May to December 2017 we are giving away 30 monthly donations of £750 each to purchase sports kits and equipment for teams and individuals aged 21 and under. In January 2018 our 30 businesses will choose one entry to go forward into our national competition. The national prize is a massive £200,000 for you, your club or team. And we're not stopping there. We also have two runners up prizes of £50,000 each and 27 finalist awards of £5,000 each.

Check out the newly revised Club Improvement Tool, which has been which is designed to help you create a personalised improvement plan by assessing your club's strengths and weaknesses.
The tool has a new look and feel, as well as incorporating all our new guidance on topics like Incorporation, Women and girls and Governance. It takes minutes to complete: answer a series of questions to create your plan, and there are links to support you and helpful resources at the end.
Yoga for the Brain

Do you have a diagnosis of dementia or care for someone living with dementia? Yoga for the brain is gentle seated exercise for all abilities, a social activity for people living with dementia and their carer.

Autumn O2 Touch training
Join the Maidenhead RFC Mohawks for their Autumn O2 Touch training sessions on Wednesday evenings from 7-8.30pm at Maidenhead RFC, Braywick Park, Sl6 1BN. The Mohawks welcome all players of all standards to join them play fun warm up games, some touch rugby specific skills training and lots of social games.
Session cost is £25 for 8 weeks or £5 per session pay as you go.

TVK - Starts their season with a strong performance
Kings pick up their first win of the season this past Saturday in British Wheelchair Basketball National League Division 3 South West against a gutsy West Coast Warriors team 49-30.
Since it's establishment in 2004, The Thatcham based Wheelchair Basketball Club with Jacqueline at its helm has endeavored to provide a high-quality wheelchair basketball programme that is accessible to players of all ages and abilities. the club strives to support, inspire and become a social hub for everyone - believing that by actively encouraging both disabled and able-bodied players, the club can create a fun and engaging atmosphere.
